Terms & Conditions

Last updated 9 August 2026

Logbook (“the Service”) is provided by David Barnier, trading as Endeavour Speech Pathology (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.

The Service

Logbook helps Australian individuals and small businesses record car trips, odometer readings, and vehicle running costs to support ATO logbook-method record keeping. It is a record-keeping tool only and is not tax, financial or legal advice. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your records and for any claims you lodge. Verify claims with your registered tax agent.

Your account

  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You must be of legal age to enter a contract.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Service unlawfully or for fraud, spam or misleading records;
  • infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy;
  • interfere with the Service’s security — no malware, probing, scraping or circumventing limits;
  • reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service.

Intellectual property

We retain ownership of the Service, its software, documentation and branding. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under your plan. You keep ownership of the data you enter; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.

Service level

We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Payment, subscriptions and refunds

Logbook costs $5 AUD per month after a 2-week free trial, billed monthly until cancelled. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms. See our refund policy for the money-back period.

Reseller / Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may cancel at any time. After termination you will have a reasonable window to export your records before deletion.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we exclude indirect or consequential loss (including lost profits, data or goodwill). Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where that cannot be excluded.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger or sale. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
